Hallmark Estates Construction Notice

We are happy to announce that we will be starting on construction on the front entrance of Hallmark Estates this week. We apologize for the short notice, but our contractor had an opening and the board felt it was important to get this job underway and completed quickly.

The board considered several options and opted to go for a simple clean look at the front. We will be removing the existing canopy, planter boxes and brick walkway at the front of the building. A new exposed aggregate concrete sidewalk will be installed out to the City sidewalk. It will extend from the intercom on one side of the front door to an equal distance on the other side of the front door and run straight out from the building and then flaring out to be wider as it meets the City sidewalk. New signage will be mounted on the building above the front door and new light fixture(s) installed above the front door. The remaining areas in front where brick is removed will be sodded to provide a simple clean finish.

Demolition will commence on April 27th and continue most of this week. We are anticipating that we will be ready for the new concrete to be poured next week with landscaping completed the week following. During the demolition and pouring access to the front entry will be limited and when the concrete is poured there will be emergency access only at the front entry for up to 2 days. Please try to make alternate arrangements for deliveries etc. during this time of interruption.
